The peace and quiet, the beautiful views, the warm welcome, the attention to detail, the wonderful breakfasts and the incredible scenery that we were able to see out on the bicycles lent by the hotel. We had a llovely time in a truly beautiful part of Portugal.

staff very friendly; charming place;nice and convenient location; they try hard.
weird towel changing policy;rooms not enough big for prize, but it depends on the combinations they assign you, cause they kinda separate a house in pieces (i.e. the randeira house), and you can get asigned a small section while other people get the big one, problem is, the small section is too small.the Tonel beach has a risky hazardous access, beside the dizzyness, we gave it up (and despite our age we are fitted, but oh!, the joints!), Alteirinhos beach is way much better and has a very good, hippy, skinshow, i mean topless and that, and familiar at the same time, atmosphere. anyway I loved Touril place, maybe we'll be back, have we money enough...

The junior suite cottage was fully equipped and allowed us to have a cozy dinner in the backyard. The breakfast was delightful, and the kitchen had all the necessary equipment. The Praia do tonel beach nearby was stunning, and there were bikes and hiking paths available to explore.
Felt very special, no complaints.

The location of the hotel is stunning, surrounded by beautiful fields that stretch all the way to the ocean. the rooms are modern and spotless, with comfortable beds and well-equipped bathrooms. the breakfast is outstanding, with freshly baked breads and homemade jams. the staff is friendly and helpful, offering great tips and recommendations for exploring the area.
The room that was booked through a third-party website turned out to be smaller than expected. It is recommended to book directly with the hotel to ensure a larger room.

The large family suite was perfect for us, with plenty of space for all our children and comfortable beds for a great night's sleep. The kids especially loved the nearby dam in the Mira River, where they had a blast swimming and trying out water sports. It was so convenient to have these activities right at our doorstep. We also took advantage of the nearby leisure facilities for horse riding and fishing, which added even more fun to our stay. The location was ideal, with a great network of walking routes nearby, perfect for exploring the beautiful southwest coast of Portugal. We had the best time hiking along the Rail Fisherman and History Walk, discovering stunning coastal views and hidden gems along the way. It was an unforgettable experience, filled with adventure and natural beauty.
For dads, it would be great if there were a designated children's play area within the property.

The room was very clean and quiet, ensuring a great night's sleep.

the converted hacienda had a stylish and comfortable cottage with a beautiful blue and white terrace. the staff provided very helpful service, welcoming us with fresh orange juice after a long day on the fisherman's trail. They even organized transport for our rucksacks and a restaurant reservation in the nearby village. the breakfast was perfect and they adapted the packed lunch to our specific needs.
I can't wait to return to this idyllic retreat.
